He was cartooned in 1945. It is the corporate mascot of its owing entertainment company. He starred in 163 shorts in the Golden Age of American animation, and made cameos in three others along with a few appearances in non-animated films. He was "born" in 1940 in Brooklyn, New York. He first appeared in Porky`s Hare Hunt. Charlie Thorson a lead animator gave it the name. He was popular during World War II because of his free and easy attitude, and began receiving special star billing in his cartoons by 1943. He was in opposition to the period's biggest enemies: Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and the Japanese. In one of the cartoons he was wearing a USMC(United States Marine Corps) dress uniform. As a result, the USMC(United States Marine Corps) made him an honorary Marine Master Sergeant. Who ?
